2026 GAC Trumpchi M6 MAX Interior Revealed, Launching May 15

On May 13, GAC Trumpchi released official interior images of the 2026 Trumpchi M6 MAX and announced that the model will officially launch on May 15. The new vehicle features a "ultra-clear intelligent dual-screen setup," likely comprising a floating central touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster, along with a wireless smartphone charging pad. The gear selector adopts a steering-column-mounted (stalk) design. Exterior updates include a new vertical-slat front grille, while the headlight design remains largely consistent with the current model. Traditional door handles and a full-width taillight bar are expected to be retained. Powering the M6 MAX is the third-generation GAC "JULANG" 1.5TG turbocharged engine, delivering a maximum output of 130 kW and peak torque of 270 N·m. It is paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. Under WLTC testing conditions, the vehicle achieves a combined fuel consumption of 7.22 L/100 km and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.4 seconds.
