Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announced its financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026 (FY2025) and the fourth quarter on May 13. For the full FY2025, the company reported consolidated revenue of JPY 12.0 trillion, down from JPY 12.6 trillion in the previous fiscal year. Operating profit declined to JPY 58 billion from JPY 69.8 billion a year earlier, resulting in an operating margin of 0.5%, compared to 0.6% in the prior year. The company posted a net loss of JPY 533.1 billion, an improvement from the previous fiscal year's net loss of JPY 670.9 billion, but marking its second consecutive year of substantial net losses. In the fourth quarter of FY2025, Nissan recorded consolidated revenue of JPY 3.4 trillion, consolidated operating profit of JPY 68.1 billion (an operating margin of 2.0%), and a net loss of JPY 282.9 billion for the quarter.
