All 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E models come equipped with a dedicated suspension system, which Ford says gives each variant its own distinct "personality." This "personality" is reflected in differences in chassis tuning rather than just exterior styling. The lineup offers four suspension configurations: Rally, GT with MagneRide adaptive dampers, GT with passive suspension, and Select/Premium. The Rally variant is designed for both on-road and off-pavement driving, featuring reinforced suspension hardware to better absorb harsh impacts. The GT MagneRide version uses magnetorheological dampers that adjust damping in real time based on sensor inputs sampled 1,000 times per second, enabling intelligent adaptability. The GT passive suspension variant prioritizes sporty handling, sacrificing some comfort for enhanced road feedback. Meanwhile, the Select/Premium models use a passive suspension setup but are tuned with springs and dampers calibrated to strike a balance between ride comfort and driving enjoyment. Ford states that each suspension system was independently developed and fine-tuned from the outset to meet specific driving requirements, without compromise across variants. The 2026 Mach-E GT starts at $53,395—about $1,000 less than the previous generation—while the base rear-wheel-drive Select model starts at $37,795, unchanged from the 2025 model year. Additionally, a new California Special edition, based on the GT, delivers 480 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque, with an EPA-estimated range of 280 miles and a starting price of $55,890. Ford is currently promoting its existing EVs with employee pricing discounts and offering buyers a complimentary Level 2 home charging station as part of its “Power Promise” program.
