Xu Yanhua, Secretary-General of the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, revealed that cumulative sales of power and energy storage batteries reached 4,088.5 GWh during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021–2025), with exports accounting for nearly 20% in 2025; lithium battery production and sales are projected to more than double by 2030 compared to 2025 levels.
