BYD’s Fangchengbao Bao 7 EV Flash Charge Edition debuts with integrated KFC in-car ordering functionality, with other models set to receive the feature via OTA updates in the future. The system supports voice-activated ordering and password-free payment, allowing users to pick up their meals at designated “Drive-Thru” lanes after placing an order. The Fangchengbao Bao 7 EV Flash Charge Edition officially launched on April 29, offered in two variants: a 675 km rear-wheel-drive Flash Charge version and a 755 km rear-wheel-drive Flash Charge version, with a starting price of RMB 199,800. Positioned as the “world’s first flash-charging, large-box pure electric SUV,” the vehicle measures 4,999 mm in length (5,050 mm for certain versions), 1,995 mm in width, 1,865 mm in height, and features a 2,920 mm wheelbase. It is available with either a single-motor setup (300 kW) or a dual-motor configuration (215 kW + 300 kW).
