Mind Robotics, a startup founded by Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe, secured $400 million in funding on Wednesday, bringing its total funding to over $1 billion. Founded late last year, the company focuses on developing AI-powered industrial robots for use in automotive manufacturing and other industrial sectors. Mind Robotics is currently collaborating with Rivian to train and deploy hundreds of intelligent robots at Rivian’s factory in Normal, Illinois. Following this funding round, the company is valued at $3.4 billion and aims to become a robotics supplier for the broader manufacturing industry.
