Researchers from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden and Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand have developed an AI-based fast-charging strategy. This approach dynamically adjusts the charging process in real time based on battery health, extending the lifespan of electric vehicle batteries by nearly 23% without increasing charging time. The findings have been published in the IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification.
