On May 14, 2024, French automotive supplier OPmobility announced it had secured a major order from Stellantis Group in the European market. Under the agreement, OPmobility will supply a highly integrated tailgate module based on its “One4You” integrated solution for Stellantis’ next-generation all-electric SUV. This module integrates the rear bumper, a thermoplastic tailgate, and unified lighting components. The “One4You” solution was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in 2025, combining OPmobility’s expertise in exterior systems, intelligent lighting, and vehicle modules, and co-developed with its software division, OP’nSoft. As of May 2026, the solution has already been selected for more than 10 vehicle programs globally. The thermoplastic tailgate assembly enhances aerodynamic performance and reduces carbon emissions by 20% compared to conventional steel structures. It also marks the first time a plastic tailgate assembly for B-segment vehicles has entered large-scale mass production. This integrated approach helps shorten vehicle development cycles and increases per-vehicle value. Founded in 1946 and headquartered in Paris, France, OPmobility operates in areas including exterior and lighting systems and complex module integration. In 2025, the group reported revenues of €11.5 billion, employing approximately 38,100 people worldwide, with 152 manufacturing plants and 40 R&D centers.
