On May 15, 2024, Tesla China launched an exclusive charging benefit for new owners of Model S, 3, X, and Y vehicles. Within 45 days of vehicle delivery, new owners can purchase a Supercharger service package priced at RMB 1,299, which includes 2,300 kWh of Supercharging credits—equivalent to approximately RMB 0.57 per kWh. This benefit remains valid for six years or until the 2,300 kWh are fully used, whichever comes first. Tesla has built over 2,600 Supercharger stations and more than 13,000 Superchargers across mainland China, covering all provincial capitals and municipalities directly under the central government, with a real-time availability rate of 99.95%. Additionally, Tesla introduced three home charging service packages for customers who meet installation requirements. Each package includes a 40-meter national-standard cable and installation service, and supports OTA (over-the-air) remote upgrades and multi-vehicle access management. Pricing is as follows: the Cybervault Home Charging Package costs RMB 1,299; the Gen 3 Wall Connector (single-phase version) is priced at RMB 1,499; and the Gen 3 Wall Connector (three-phase version) costs RMB 3,299. Based on Beijing’s off-peak electricity rates projected for May 2026, the estimated cost to charge for 100 kilometers of driving range is approximately RMB 5.7. Existing owners can also take advantage of a limited-time offer: both the Gen 3 Wall Connector (single-phase version) and the Cybervault charger are available at a discounted price of RMB 1,599, along with a 10% discount on installation fees.
