Zhijie V9 Launches, Redefining the Premium MPV Market with Huawei's Tech Ecosystem

On May 15, the AITO brand under Harmony Intelligent Mobility officially launched its first MPV—the Zhijie V9—with prices ranging from RMB 389,800 to RMB 519,800. The vehicle measures 5,359 mm in length with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm and boasts an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.253 Cd. All variants come standard with ±7° rear-wheel steering, achieving a minimum turning radius of just 5.35 meters, and are equipped with the industry’s first 896-line LiDAR. Built on the MPV-dedicated flagship Tuling platform, the Zhijie V9 features a front double-wishbone and rear H-arm multi-link suspension setup, paired with CDC continuously variable damping shock absorbers. A dual-chamber air suspension is available as an option. Its motion sickness mitigation system works in tandem with rear-wheel steering and has earned TÜV Rheinland’s Motion Sickness Relief certification. Inside the cabin, the Zhijie V9 is outfitted with the Harmony ALPS Healthy Cockpit 3.0, integrating an onboard oxygen generator (capable of raising cabin oxygen concentration above 22% within 30 minutes), MOFs adsorption materials, UVC ultraviolet sterilization, CN95-grade filters, and negative ion generators. Second-row seats offer 45° swivel welcome mode, 180° face-to-face seating, and a 123° zero-gravity recline position, complemented by a 34-inch floating table. In terms of safety, the body structure—dubbed “Xuanwu”—uses 91.6% high-strength steel and aluminum alloys, including 25.1% hot-stamped steel, and employs the world’s first electromagnetic thermal-controlled die-casting technology. Each side door is reinforced with two 2,400 MPa and six 2,200 MPa anti-intrusion beams. The sill incorporates an 11-cell energy-absorbing aluminum structure and includes dedicated battery impact protection armor. The vehicle comes standard with 13 airbags, including seat cushion airbags, independent second-row side airbags, and third-row curtain airbags. The active safety suite, CAS 5.0, delivers all-time, all-scenario collision avoidance capabilities, enhanced by eAES 3.0 active rear-end collision prevention assistance and irregular obstacle detection. The Angel Seat Full-Domain Protection System enables a complete safety response chain: pre-collision seat repositioning, in-collision seatbelt tightening and airbag deployment, and post-collision automatic emergency calling and data reporting. The Zhijie V9 has received dual certifications from China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) as both a “Zero Formaldehyde Vehicle” and a “Zero Benzene Vehicle.” It also supports seamless connectivity within the HarmonyOS ecosystem, enabling smooth cross-device interaction between the vehicle, smartphones, tablets, and smart home devices. Pre-sale orders have already exceeded 40,000 units.
