On May 16, Wang Hao, head coach of the Chinese men's table tennis team, returned to China after leading his team to their 12th consecutive men's team title at the World Table Tennis Championships in London. On the same day, he visited Zeekr’s delivery center in Beijing to take delivery of his newly ordered Zeekr 8X. Wang had placed a deposit on the vehicle before departing for London and finalized his order after thoroughly reviewing the car’s specifications. The Zeekr 8X features a bold and imposing exterior design, highlighted by a vertical-slat front grille and full-width rear light bar, with body lines emphasizing muscularity. Inside, the cabin offers a luxurious and tech-forward experience, crafted with premium materials and meticulous attention to detail, featuring a large central touchscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster. Under the hood, the vehicle comes standard across all trims with a 2.0T plug-in hybrid powertrain and all-wheel drive. It debuts Zeekr’s three-motor, megawatt-class electric drive technology in the hybrid segment, delivering a peak output of 1,030 kW (approximately 1,400 horsepower) and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.96 seconds.
