The all-new AITO M9 series has officially been announced to feature Huawei’s latest Tuling Longxing platform, accompanied by the release of multi-terrain real-world test videos. Leveraging forward-facing triple-laser ultra-long preview and real-time road surface modeling technologies—combined with an 800V high-voltage architecture, four-wheel independent control, and multi-level height adjustment—the platform enables proactive perception of upcoming road conditions and dynamic chassis adjustments. Huawei claims this delivers a driving experience characterized by “smoothness over potholes, stability in corners, and seamless handling over jumps.” Test scenarios showcased include slalom maneuvers, lane changes, braking, jump landings, off-axis washboard roads, bumpy surfaces, and undulating terrain—demonstrating the vehicle’s stability and suspension performance across diverse and challenging conditions. The new M9 is offered in two variants: the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Lingshi Extended Edition, with pre-sale prices starting at RMB 499,800 and RMB 669,800 respectively. Pre-orders opened on April 22, 2024. The chassis is built upon an integrated architecture combining intelligent preview and intelligent driving control, featuring a “Gemini” dual-redundant system and over 30 redundant design elements. Powering the vehicle is Huawei’s Zhijing dual-SiC electric drive system, which achieves a 93.5% operating efficiency and delivers over 900 horsepower from its powertrain. It also debuts Huawei’s Jujing battery platform. In terms of intelligent driving, the M9 is equipped with a 3D perception array comprising six LiDAR units and Huawei’s next-generation ADS 5.0 system, integrating advanced perception and control decision-making capabilities. Additional features include a full-color intelligent lighting projection system, Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communication System 3.0, and the “TianDi Network” connectivity suite, supporting V2V communication without cellular networks and enhanced satellite communication.
