At the 18th Xuanyuan Automotive Blue Book Forum held in Guangzhou on May 17, Li Bin, founder, chairman, and CEO of NIO, stated that the Firefly brand currently has no plans to develop a second model. He noted that Firefly already holds approximately 70% of the premium compact car market share, making it unnecessary to launch a new model at this stage. Li added that NIO and its ONVO brand are fully capable of handling new vehicle development tasks, so expansion through the Firefly brand isn't essential. Previously, NIO launched an updated version of the Firefly, which retains the iconic "trio" headlight design and features new dual-tone alloy wheels with a star-track pattern. The interior includes a 13.2-inch 2.5K high-definition central touchscreen and a 6-inch digital instrument cluster, along with a new intelligent driving assistance indicator called the "Little Blue Light." The vehicle measures 4,003 mm in length, 1,781 mm in width, and 1,557 mm in height, and is powered by a single motor. Its price ranges from RMB 119,800 to RMB 125,800.
