Leapmotor has unveiled the interior design of its D99 model, featuring three rows of seats—all of which can be folded flat. The second-row seats can rotate 90° and 180° and come equipped with optional accessories such as a small table. The third-row seats can be fully stowed into the trunk. The vehicle supports multiple seating and space configurations, including: - Folding the first and second rows completely flat to form a bed; - Folding the third row 180° to create a bed; - Combining the folded second and third rows into a larger sleeping area; - A "fishing seat" function for the third row, allowing passengers to sit facing outward. Interior features include an overhead ceiling-mounted screen, a large panoramic sunroof above the rear seats, and power-adjustable, heated seats across all three rows. The D99 measures 5,280 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width, and either 1,900 mm or 1,880 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. Powertrain options include both all-electric and range-extended variants: - The all-electric version features dual motors (front and rear) delivering 180 kW and 230 kW respectively, paired with CATL-supplied batteries available in either lithium iron phosphate (LFP) or ternary lithium chemistries. - The range-extended version is equipped with a 1.5L range extender producing a maximum output of 100 kW, also using a CATL-supplied LFP battery pack.
