On May 18, Wang Leehom, global brand ambassador for Denza, responded to questions about how his endorsement fee would be used during the launch event for the Denza N9 Flash Charging Edition, stating, "It's true that I'm using my endorsement fee to buy BYD shares." He mentioned that ten years ago, he participated in a TV program sponsored by BYD, and if he had invested in BYD back then, he would have earned substantial returns by now. Therefore, he decided to seize this opportunity and allocate his entire endorsement earnings to purchasing BYD stock, expressing optimism about the outcome a decade from now. Previously, on May 15, Denza officially announced Wang Leehom as its global brand ambassador. Media reports indicated that the endorsement deal exceeded RMB 10 million. His agent confirmed satisfaction with the endorsement amount and emphasized that, due to strong confidence in BYD's growth prospects and capabilities, the full sum would be used to purchase shares of the company.
