The all-new Li Auto L9 Livis Edition launched on May 15 with a price tag of RMB 509,800. It supports fully autonomous recharging at Li Auto’s 5C ultra-fast charging stations. In real-world testing, the vehicle autonomously drove into the charging station but, finding no available charging spots, automatically parked itself in a waiting area. Once a charging spot became free, the vehicle received a notification from the cloud and autonomously navigated to the vacant charging bay. It then automatically opened its charging port cover, and a robotic charging arm scanned and identified the port’s location, plugged in the charger, and initiated charging—all without any human intervention. Equipped for 5C ultra-fast charging with a peak power of 420 kW, the vehicle can charge its 72.7 kWh battery from 10% to 80% in approximately 10 minutes. Li Auto’s automated charging stations enable vehicles to autonomously locate the station, park, and recharge, allowing users to remain inside their vehicles throughout the entire process.
