CATL and Shanxi Province Forge Full-Chain New Energy Cluster, Advance Zero-Carbon City Initiative

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Shanxi Province in Taiyuan, and simultaneously entered into a zero-carbon city cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Datong City. Both parties will jointly develop a new energy industrial cluster driven by aluminum and lithium industries, aligned with the national strategies of "building a modern energy system" and "strengthening China as an energy powerhouse," with a key focus on establishing a leading hub for battery-swapping heavy-duty trucks.
