Geely Automobile recently completed the full acquisition of three core companies under Radar Auto, with a total transaction value of approximately RMB 218 million. Specifically, Zhejiang Jirun Automobile acquired 100% equity in Radar Auto (Shandong) Co., Ltd. for RMB 159 million; Geely Automobile Sales Company acquired all equity in Radar Auto Sales Co., Ltd. for RMB 59 million; and additionally purchased the share capital of Radar Thailand, Radar’s Thai subsidiary, for RMB 490,000. Launched by Geely Holding Group in July 2022, Radar Auto is a mid-to-high-end new energy outdoor lifestyle brand. Its first all-electric pickup truck, the RD6, was launched in November 2022. In 2023, the brand sold nearly 4,700 units, accounting for over 60% of China’s total new energy pickup sales that year. By 2025, its sales reached 13,040 units, consistently placing it among the leaders in China’s new energy pickup market. Following the acquisition, Radar Auto will be integrated into Geely’s China Star brand, focusing on pickups and outdoor lifestyle products. This consolidation marks Geely Automobile’s transition away from a “multi-brand fragmented” operational model toward a new phase of efficient resource synergy and coordinated development.
