Since its launch on June 9, 2023, BYD's Fangchengbao brand has achieved cumulative sales of 400,000 units, with the Bao 7 model alone surpassing 150,000 units sold. Positioned between BYD’s Dynasty/Ocean series and the premium Yangwang brand, Fangchengbao targets both rugged off-road and urban mobility markets. At the end of April this year, Fangchengbao introduced the Bao 7 EV Flash Charge Edition, offering two variants: a 675 km rear-wheel-drive Flash Charge version priced at RMB 199,800 and a 755 km rear-wheel-drive Flash Charge version priced at RMB 209,800. The 755 km rear-wheel-drive model also offers an optional “God’s Eye B+ AWD” package for an additional RMB 30,000.
