Xiaomi YU7 GT Reveals Design, Interior, and Wheel Specs—21-Inch Wheels Standard Across All Trims

On May 20, Li Xiaoshuang, Vice President of Xiaomi Auto, unveiled the exterior colors, interior styles, and wheel designs for the Xiaomi YU7 GT. The vehicle will be available in five exterior colors: Cherry Red, Volcanic Ash, Obsidian Black, Pearl White, and Titanium Metallic. Two interior themes are offered: Luxurious Sport and Luxurious Comfort. All variants come standard with 21-inch wheels, including the low-drag Phantom Blade wheels and the five-spoke double-layer forged wheels. Lei Jun, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Xiaomi, stated that the YU7 GT is positioned as a sports-car-grade SUV ideal for long-distance travel, targeting elite professionals of the era, with a relatively premium price point. Regarding the decision to test the vehicle on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, Lei explained that the Nürburgring is not just a racetrack but also a globally recognized proving ground for high-performance vehicles. The purpose of the testing is to validate the car’s mechanical capabilities and handling stability under complex road conditions and varying weather scenarios.
