Li Auto rolled out the OTA 8.5 update on May 20, covering the Li Auto MEGA, the i series, and the 2022–2025 Li L series models. This update introduces a new "one-click remote parking exit" feature, allowing users to remotely control their vehicle via the Li Auto app to automatically drive out of parallel or perpendicular parking spots without needing to enter the car. Additionally, the system has optimized the VLA driver large model, enhancing decision-making confidence when navigating around obstacles, improving lane-change smoothness, and refining the smoothness of acceleration, deceleration, and initial take-off. Furthermore, during assisted driving, if the vehicle mistakenly enters a non-target lane, the system can proactively detect the deviation at an appropriate moment and automatically replan the route based on surrounding traffic conditions.
