The Harmony Intelligent Mobility (HIMA) brand's first MPV, the Luxeed V9, officially launched on May 15, positioned as a "panoramic intelligent flagship MPV." It is offered in four variants, priced between RMB 389,800 and RMB 519,800, with deliveries scheduled to begin in early June. Zhao Changjiang, Executive Director and Executive Vice President of Luxeed Auto, revealed that the vehicle comes pre-equipped with hardware supporting conditional Level 3 (L3) autonomous driving. On December 15, 2023, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced the country’s first batch of L3 autonomous driving vehicle access permits, authorizing two models to conduct on-road pilot tests in designated areas. The Changan SC7000AAARBEV all-electric sedan is permitted to operate autonomous driving functions at speeds up to 50 km/h in congested sections of certain expressways in Chongqing, while the Arcfox BJ7001A61NBEV all-electric sedan can perform autonomous driving at speeds up to 80 km/h on designated highway segments in Beijing.
