Tesla Vice President Tao Lin stated that the Signature Edition Model S and Model X have rolled off the production line at Tesla’s Fremont factory in California, and the relevant production lines will soon be converted for humanoid robot manufacturing. The Model S and Model X are iconic products from the first phase of Tesla’s “Master Plan” and have been produced as the company’s flagship vehicles since 2012. Tesla has confirmed it will end production of these two models in the second quarter of 2026.
