BYD announced today that actress Wang Churan has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the third-generation Yuan PLUS, with the new model officially launching at 19:00 this evening. Positioned as a pure-electric SUV in the RMB 150,000 price segment, the vehicle is offered in six new exterior colors, including dual-tone and solid options such as Dreamy Pink and Playful Blue. The vehicle measures 4,665 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,770 mm. Its exterior features semi-recessed door handles and a full-width wavy taillight design. Under the hood, the new Yuan PLUS is powered by BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery paired with flash-charging technology. It uses a rear-wheel-drive layout, with an electric motor delivering a maximum output of 240 kW and a CLTC-rated range of up to 630 kilometers. The chassis is fitted with BYD’s proprietary Cloud Ride-C intelligent damping system. Safety features include seven airbags and the TBC (Tire Blow-out Control) stability system. For intelligent driving, the vehicle is equipped with BYD’s "Eagle Eye" B advanced driver-assistance system, supporting high-level ADAS functions. Additional interior highlights include a 16-speaker premium audio system, a climate-controlled refrigerator, Misty Grey interior trim, and 39 thoughtfully designed storage compartments throughout the cabin.
