BYD officially launches the third-generation Yuan PLUS, offering two CLTC range variants—540 km and 630 km—with prices ranging from RMB 119,900 to RMB 149,900. The new model comes in nine exterior color options, including Dreamy Pink, Playful Blue, Aura Green, Serenity Cyan, Sky White, Line Gray, and three dual-tone combinations. Exterior styling continues BYD’s signature “Dragon Face” design language, featuring semi-recessed door handles and a full-width rear light bar with wave-effect lighting. Inside, the cabin features a larger central touchscreen, a new two-spoke steering wheel, and a stalkless gear selector (push-button shifter). A wireless charging pad is integrated beneath the center console, while some physical buttons are retained for convenience. The interior is offered in Misty Rain Gray and includes a 16-speaker audio system, a heated/cooled mini-fridge, an integrated matching tissue box, and a “Inspiration Nook” on the passenger side for placing flowers or collectible figures. Rear seats feature under-seat drawer-style storage compartments, contributing to a total of 39 storage spaces throughout the vehicle. The vehicle measures 4,665 mm long, 1,895 mm wide, and 1,675 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,770 mm. Powering the Yuan PLUS is a rear-mounted 240 kW electric motor paired with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and fast-charging technology, delivering up to 630 km of CLTC-rated range. Safety features include seven airbags and TBC (Tire Blow-out Control) stability system. Optional upgrades include the “God’s Eye B” LiDAR-enabled advanced driver-assistance package (priced at RMB 12,000) and the Cloud Ride-C intelligent damping suspension system.
