On May 21, Xiaomi officially launched the YU7 GT, priced at RMB 389,900. Positioned as a sports-car-grade SUV, it set a new record for the fastest SUV on Germany’s Nürburgring Nordschleife with a lap time of 7 minutes 22.755 seconds. The YU7 GT is powered by a dual-motor system: a V6s Plus motor at the front and a V8s EVO motor at the rear, delivering a combined peak output of 1,003 horsepower. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.92 seconds and has a top speed of 300 km/h. The vehicle features an 897-volt high-voltage platform and a 101.7 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 705 kilometers and supporting ultra-fast charging at up to 5.2C. Exterior design highlights include a wide-body stance, an integrated front splitter, 295-width rear tires, an active rear diffuser, 21-inch wheels (available in a twin five-spoke forged design), carbon fiber side mirrors, and a 24K gold-accented carbon fiber emblem. Inside, the cabin adopts an enveloping layout, featuring a panoramic “Horizon Display” and a carbon fiber steering wheel, with support for seamless interaction across five screens. The interior is trimmed with 2.3 square meters of Alcantara material and offers 15 optional carbon fiber accents, along with exclusive GT badging throughout. Buyers can choose between two seat configurations—Luxury Comfort and Luxury Sport—both standard with massage functionality. The YU7 GT incorporates over 30 upgraded sound-insulating materials throughout the cabin and comes standard with an intelligent electrochromic sunroof, a 25-speaker audio system, a HEPA high-efficiency air filtration system, and a gentle-breeze climate control system. Its braking system features six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston calipers at the rear, paired with the largest carbon-ceramic brake discs in its class.
