On May 22, Voyah Auto launched its new SUV model, the Taishan X8. Within just 53 minutes of its market debut, the vehicle garnered over 15,000 orders. As a five-seater SUV, it offers a cabin usable area of 6.1 square meters, a standard trunk capacity of 1,148 liters—expandable to 2,361 liters when the second-row seats are folded—and features a 110-liter sunken storage compartment. The Taishan X8 is equipped with mechanical kneading massage seats offering full-body massage at 32 points. The second row features dual zero-gravity seats that recline up to 145 degrees. The vehicle also debuts an industry-exclusive fully automatic one-touch bed conversion function, transforming the interior into a flat sleeping surface measuring 2.1 meters by 1.3 meters in under one minute. Powertrain options include both hybrid and all-electric variants. The hybrid version comes with a 65 kWh battery, delivering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 370 km and a combined range of 1,506 km. The all-electric variant features a 120 kWh battery, achieving a CLTC pure electric range of 727 km. The entire lineup supports an 800V electrical architecture across all driving scenarios and 5C ultra-fast charging technology.
