Tesla China has updated the Chinese name of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) feature on its official website to "Tesla Driver Assistance," while keeping the price unchanged at RMB 64,000. This feature includes all capabilities from both the "Basic Driver Assistance" and "Enhanced Driver Assistance" packages, and Tesla states it will enable the vehicle to handle most driving tasks with minimal driver intervention in the future. This is not the first time FSD has been renamed in China: in March 2023, Tesla simplified "Autopilot Driver Assistance Suite" to "Driver Assistance Suite" and changed "FSD Smart Driver Assistance" to "Smart Driver Assistance." Additionally, on May 21, Tesla announced that the supervised version of FSD is now available for use in China, and this version has already launched in multiple countries and regions, including China.
