On May 23, NIO completed the delivery of the 110,000th all-new ES8 in Nanjing. The model was officially launched on September 20, 2025, with a starting price of RMB 406,800. It also offers a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) option, priced between RMB 298,800 and RMB 338,800. At launch, it was available in six exterior colors: Deep Night Black, Cloud White, Polaris Blue, Dawn Gold, Starlight Green, and Stellar Gray. Measuring 5,280 mm in length with a wheelbase of 3,130 mm, the all-new ES8 is among the largest all-electric SUVs in the Chinese market. Its interior features a Skyline panoramic display, a floating central touchscreen, and an upgraded NOMI system. The steering wheel adopts a three-spoke design, and the central screen has been changed from vertical to horizontal orientation. The vehicle is equipped with a total of 111 physical buttons. Powered by NIO’s full-domain 900V high-voltage architecture, the new ES8 is equipped with dual motors delivering a peak power output of 520 kW and peak torque of 700 N·m. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.97 seconds and achieves a braking distance of 34.9 meters from 100 km/h to a complete stop. Standard equipment includes a 102 kWh 4C battery pack, offering a CLTC range of 635 km and an energy consumption of 16.6 kWh per 100 km. According to official data, since its launch in September 2025, the all-new ES8 has outsold extended-range models for eight consecutive months in the premium large three-row all-electric SUV segment. One month ago, it became the fastest-selling model priced above RMB 400,000 in China’s passenger vehicle market to reach 100,000 deliveries.
