The Aito M9 series will feature the upgraded Xuanwu Body Architecture 2.0, employing a "13-horizontal-by-11-vertical" structural design with 91% of its body composed of aluminum alloys and high-strength steel. The front and rear crash structures have been optimized using widened 7000-series aluminum alloy materials and multi-cell energy-absorbing structures, resulting in a 5.2% increase in bumper beam width, a 36% increase in height, and a 32.1% improvement in bending strength. On the sides, the vehicle is equipped with eight ultra-high-strength hot-stamped steel anti-collision beams rated above 2,200 MPa, boosting door strength by 52.5% and roof crush resistance by 19%. The vehicle can be outfitted with up to 13 airbags, including a multi-stage adaptive driver airbag, second-row far-side airbag, integrated head-and-chest airbag, and zero-gravity seat cushion airbag. These are complemented by dual-stage adaptive load-limiting seatbelts and pre-collision high-torque pretensioners. The car also supports an AI-powered adaptive protection system that dynamically identifies occupant biometrics, seating posture, and collision severity to adjust safety strategies in real time. The new product launch event, originally scheduled for 19:00 on May 27, has been moved forward to 14:30 the same day, with official reservations opening immediately after the event. Pre-sales began on April 22, offering a Standard Edition and an Ultimate Extended Edition, priced from RMB 499,800 and RMB 669,800 respectively. As of the launch event, cumulative pre-orders have exceeded 50,000 units.
