GAC Group Chairman Feng Xingya stated that the automotive industry is currently undergoing a period of profound transformation characterized by deep industrial restructuring, rapid technological iteration, reshaping of management models, and reconfiguration of competitive dynamics—a convergence of "four overlapping phases"—marking the beginning of an industry-wide shakeout. Based on this assessment, GAC Group fully launched the "Panyu Initiative" at the end of 2024 to drive comprehensive, integrated reforms across R&D, production, sales, and supply chain operations. Regarding overseas markets, GAC has clearly identified international expansion as its primary growth driver, aiming to enter 120 countries and establish 2,000 sales and service outlets by the end of China's 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026–2030). The company has set an overseas sales target of 250,000 to 300,000 vehicles for 2026. Its global strategy emphasizes systematic, holistic deployment rather than mere product exports.
