Recently, Firefly—a sub-brand under NIO—announced that cumulative deliveries of its new vehicle have reached 60,000 units. Positioned as a premium all-electric compact car, the model measures 4,003 mm in length, 1,781 mm in width, and 1,557 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,615 mm. It features a tight turning radius, generous interior space, and a practical front trunk. The vehicle adopts a rear-wheel-drive layout with a single motor and offers a CLTC-rated range of 420 kilometers, while also supporting NIO’s battery swap system. In terms of safety, it has received top ratings across all categories from the China Insurance Automotive Safety Institute (C-IASI). Previously, NIO founder William Li stated that Firefly holds a significant share in the premium compact EV segment. Initially, the car sparked discussion due to its headlight design, but it has since gained market acceptance based on its real-world performance.
