Jay Chou Endorses Buick Zhi Jing Shi Jia Wan Edition, Priced at ¥419,900

SAIC-GM Buick has announced Jay Chou as the ambassador for its MPV family, marking 26 years of shared growth since the release of Jay Chou’s debut album and the launch of the Buick GL8 in 2000. The model he endorses is the Buick Zhi Jing Shi Jia Wan Edition, priced at RMB 419,900, targeting the premium family MPV segment. The vehicle measures 5,260 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,835 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm. It is powered by the Zhenlong Plug-in Hybrid Pro dual-motor AWD system, delivering a combined maximum output of 462 kW and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. It offers an all-electric range of 224 km and a combined range of 1,320 km, supporting 3C fast charging—capable of charging from 30% to 80% state of charge in only 20 minutes. All three rows feature floating-style seats upholstered in perforated Nappa leather. The second-row seatbacks are recline-adjustable, while the third row includes a 330-mm electric sliding rail. The trunk provides a standard capacity of 630 liters, expandable up to 2,056 liters. In terms of safety, the vehicle is equipped with Ultium batteries that have passed 37 tests exceeding national standards. Its body features a cage-like structure with 77.3% high-strength materials, including 1,700 MPa hot-stamped steel at critical areas. Standard safety features include ten airbags throughout the cabin, including full-length side curtain airbags, and the vehicle has undergone rigorous testing across multiple extreme driving scenarios.
