The all-new Li Auto L9 is available in two variants: the L9 Livis and the L9 Ultra. The two models differ in chassis suspension, intelligent driver-assistance systems, and exterior design. The L9 Livis features an 800V active suspension and a full-by-wire chassis, while the L9 Ultra adopts the "Magic Carpet" by-wire chassis. The Livis is equipped with dual Mach M100 chips and includes front-, side-, and rear-facing LiDAR sensors, whereas the Ultra uses a single chip and only features a front-facing LiDAR. Addressing user concerns about maintenance intervals, the new Li Auto L9 introduces the world’s first intelligent range extender maintenance system, allowing service intervals of up to three years or 30,000 kilometers of range extender operation—whichever comes first. This system doesn’t merely extend service intervals; instead, it leverages a native ultra-long maintenance architecture combined with Shell’s custom-formulated ultra-low-viscosity long-life engine oil developed exclusively for Li Auto. Additionally, a full-condition forced ventilation system minimizes internal oxidation and nitration contamination within the range extender, significantly slowing oil degradation. Enhanced manufacturing precision and cleanliness further optimize the internal operating environment of the range extender. The vehicle also dynamically calculates and adjusts maintenance intervals in real time based on actual usage patterns, reducing the frequency of required service visits while ensuring long-term reliability. Under a projected usage scenario of 10 years or 200,000 kilometers (with 100,000 kilometers of range extender operation), certain scheduled maintenance costs can be reduced by up to RMB 6,881 compared to the previous-generation model.
