Harmony Intelligent Mobility will roll out an OTA update in May, introducing 17 new features and optimizing 36 user experiences. Key updates include a rearward VRU (Vulnerable Road User) collision risk warning that detects pedestrians or cyclists behind the vehicle during manual reversing and alerts the driver via highlighted visual warnings, a red light carpet on the ground, and audible alerts. A new one-touch activation for Navigation Cruise Assist (NCA) has been added: upon vehicle power-up, the system intelligently recommends destinations, and once NCA is activated, it automatically switches to the ADS navigation interface to initiate guided driving. The update also enhances waypoint management, allowing users to reorder or temporarily add waypoints, with historical routes now automatically saving their associated waypoints. The XiaoYi voice assistant now supports regional dialects including Nanjing, Hefei, Northern Anhui, Wuhan, Shanghai, and Southern Fujian, and can provide voice-based queries for nearby service area facilities. The microphone-free karaoke feature enables real-time removal of original vocals while preserving instrumental backing tracks, delivering ultra-low 50ms latency for seamless sing-along performance. Additional improvements include more flexible activation conditions for NCA, richer AR-HUD content, enhanced seat comfort, and more convenient parking operations.
