On May 18, 2026, two consecutive magnitude-5.2 earthquakes struck Liunan District in Liuzhou City, Guangxi, followed by multiple aftershocks. In response to the disaster, Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. announced on May 25 a donation totaling RMB 2.58 million in cash and supplies to support earthquake relief and post-disaster reconstruction efforts. The donation includes RMB 1 million in cash and 11 rescue vehicles valued at RMB 1.58 million, jointly provided by Dongfeng Motor and its subsidiary Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co., Ltd. These vehicles will be exclusively used for emergency rescue operations, aid to affected residents, and reconstruction activities. Dongfeng Motor stated it will continue closely monitoring relief progress in the disaster area, fulfilling its responsibilities as a central state-owned enterprise to support local emergency response and recovery efforts.
