The all-new Aito M9 from Harmony Intelligent Mobility has been confirmed to feature Huawei's Tuling Longxing platform, as announced in an official promotional video released on May 16. Shortly afterward, the video was flagged on certain short-video platforms as containing AI-generated content. A blogger submitted the video to China’s National Anti-Fraud Center for AI detection, and the results indicated signs of AI generation. In response to the controversy, blogger @AIMIKKKK publicly shared a real-world footage video on May 26 demonstrating the Aito M9’s active suspension capabilities, clearly capturing the sounds produced as the vehicle traversed a bumpy road. According to publicly available information, the Aito M9 series includes three variants: Max+, Ultra, and Ultimate, offered in both five-seat and six-seat configurations, with either range-extended or all-electric dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrains. The top-tier Ultimate Lingshi Extended Edition, fully loaded with premium features, is estimated to carry a pre-tax price of approximately RMB 879,800. With the addition of Huawei’s ADS 5.0 advanced driver-assistance system, purchase tax, and insurance, its total on-road price approaches RMB 1 million. The official launch event for this new series is scheduled for 14:30 on May 27.
