On May 21, Stellantis and Wayve announced a strategic partnership to integrate Wayve’s AI Driver autonomous driving system into Stellantis’ STLA AutoDrive platform. The collaboration aims to deliver hands-off, supervised L2++ autonomous driving capabilities in both urban and highway environments. This agreement builds upon Stellantis’ prior strategic investment in Wayve and marks a new phase in their partnership, combining Wayve’s end-to-end AI driving technology with Stellantis’ platform architecture, engineering expertise, and mass-production scale to lay the foundation for future advancements toward higher levels of autonomy.
