FAW Group recently showcased its new energy vehicles, including the JOYEE S08 and the Bestune Pony, at the ADD Europe automotive retail B2B exhibition in Italy, officially entering core European markets such as Italy, Switzerland, Poland, and Germany. Tailored to urban short-distance commuting needs in Europe, the Bestune Pony features a dynamic and stylish exterior design and is equipped with an electric powertrain system compliant with local regulations, aligning well with Italy’s policy direction of promoting low-carbon mobility. Bestune International plans to leverage Europe's growing demand for new energy compact cars to accelerate the launch of additional models meeting local regulatory requirements, with a strategic focus on expanding into key markets like Poland, Spain, and Italy. Domestically, Bestune has simultaneously introduced a new variant called the “Modern Pony,” which adds modern styling kits—including front and rear bumper trims, side and taillight accents, roof rails, and wheel covers—on top of the current model. Priced RMB 4,000 higher than the “Shining Pony,” this variant retains the existing powertrain, featuring an electric motor with a maximum output of 30 kW and peak torque of 90 N·m, delivering a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 222 kilometers.
