In April 2026, China's power battery installation volume totaled 63.7 GWh, up 17.4% year-over-year, marking a recovery in industry growth following adjustments in the first quarter. Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) ranked first with an installation volume of 29.1 GWh, capturing a market share of 45.7%, an increase of 6.6 percentage points compared to the same period last year. FinDream Battery came in second with 10.7 GWh installed, though its market share declined to 16.8%, down 11.0 percentage points year-over-year. Guoxuan High-Tech rose to third place with 4.4 GWh installed, achieving a market share of 6.9%, up 1.3 percentage points year-over-year. SVOLT Energy maintained a stable market share with 4.0 GWh installed. EVE Energy, Ruipu Lanjun, Zhengli New Energy, and JiYao Tonghang all reported year-over-year increases in their respective market shares. Sunwoda and SVOLT Energy saw their market shares dip slightly to 2.6% and 1.8%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
