The NIO ES9 officially launched on May 27, positioned as a "Luxury Flagship" and currently the brand's largest vehicle by dimensions—measuring 5,365 mm in length, 2,029 mm in width, and 1,870 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm. Designed to deliver an executive-class travel experience, the ES9 features the industry’s first native, dedicated in-car video conferencing system, equipped with an 8-megapixel HD camera supporting intelligent facial lighting enhancement. It also includes two 16-inch NIOLink Executive Screens exclusively for rear passengers to conduct high-definition video meetings. The ES9 debuts the world’s first array-type LC smart privacy dimming windows, offering a light-blocking rate of 99.8% and enabling rapid switching between privacy and transparent modes. Its seats are built on NIO’s proprietary premium platform, with the second row featuring two Aviation Zero-Gravity Executive Seats boasting a 17-layer comfort structure and the segment’s longest seamless integrated leg rests. Additional convenience features include a smart five-zone independent climate control system, an 8.8-liter smart refrigerator, and concealed dual hooks. Powering the ES9 is a dual-motor setup (front and rear) delivering maximum outputs of 180 kW and 340 kW, respectively, paired with a 102 kWh battery pack. Under CLTC conditions, it achieves a maximum all-electric range of 620 kilometers. The pre-sale price range for the complete vehicle is RMB 528,000 to RMB 658,000; opting for the BaaS (Battery as a Service) subscription plan lowers the starting price to RMB 420,000.
