In the first quarter of 2026, RoboSense reported revenue of approximately RMB 459 million, an increase of 39.9% year-over-year. Total LiDAR unit sales reached 330,300 units, surging 204.1% compared to the same period in 2025. Of this, sales of automotive ADAS LiDARs amounted to 144,800 units, up 49.7% year-over-year, while LiDARs for robotics and other applications totaled 185,500 units, soaring 1,458.8% year-over-year and accounting for over 56% of total sales. During the reporting period, the company’s overall gross margin stood at 21.7%, down from 23.5% in the same period of 2025, primarily due to higher manufacturing costs associated with the initial mass production phase of its next-generation EMX LiDAR. As of March 31, 2026, RoboSense had secured定点 (mass production nominations) for 177 vehicle models from 36 OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, with 69 of these models already achieving SOP (Start of Production). The company holds ADAS-related orders exceeding 9 million units. In the robotics sector, RoboSense has partnered with nearly 50 humanoid and quadruped robotics companies, including Unitree, Agibot, Galaxy Robotics, Zhongqing Robotics, and DG Robotics. Its products have achieved leading market positions in multiple niche segments, such as robotic lawn mowers, autonomous delivery, and commercial cleaning robots. In April 2026, RoboSense unveiled its self-developed SPAD-SoC digital architecture platform “Genesis,” along with two new chip series: Phoenix and Peacock. The Phoenix series features a single-chip, single-optical-path integrated design supporting 2,160 lines and has passed AEC-Q100 automotive-grade certification. Its 4-megapixel high-resolution LiDAR solution has already been nominated by a leading automaker and is expected to enter mass production and be deployed on vehicles within 2026. The Peacock series is the world’s highest-resolution VGA-format large-array SPAD-SoC chip available for mass production; related products have begun small-volume deliveries and are scheduled for large-scale mass production in Q3 2026. Additionally, the company’s new Active Camera series for robotics vision has secured sizable orders from a leading European humanoid robotics firm and is set to commence mass production and delivery within 2026.
