On May 27, NIO officially launched the ES9, with its official prices reduced by RMB 30,000 across all trims compared to the pre-sale pricing. The new model is available in two variants: the Executive Luxury Edition priced at RMB 498,000 and the Executive Signature Edition at RMB 558,000. With NIO’s Battery as a Service (BaaS) option, the starting prices for these versions are RMB 390,000 and RMB 450,000, respectively. The ES9 measures 5,365 mm in length, 2,029 mm in width, and 1,870 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm. It offers seven nature-inspired exterior color options. All models come standard with North American Angus bull Nappa leather upholstery and are available in two seating configurations: a six-seat version with a center console and a six-seat version with a walk-through aisle. The Executive Signature Edition comes standard with NIO’s Tianxing active suspension system. Powering the ES9 is a dual-motor setup (front and rear) paired with a 102 kWh battery pack. It delivers CLTC-rated ranges of 580 km, 600 km, and 620 km across different variants. Built on NIO’s 900V high-voltage architecture, the ES9 supports NIO’s comprehensive “Charge, Swap, and Upgrade” energy replenishment ecosystem, which covers nearly 9,000 charging and battery swap stations nationwide. Purchasers of the ES9 will receive five years of complimentary access to NIO’s NOP+ Navigation on Pilot Plus advanced driver assistance system and six years of free connected vehicle services.
