On May 27, Zhuoyu Technology officially inaugurated its European headquarters. During the opening ceremony, CEO Shen Shaojie announced several key business developments. On the technology front, Zhuoyu unveiled its native multimodal foundation model to the European market. This model, designed for intelligent driver assistance systems, features strong generalization capabilities across diverse scenarios and vertical domains. Built upon this technology, Zhuoyu’s mobile intelligence platform can be applied to passenger cars, commercial heavy-duty trucks, commercial buses, autonomous logistics vehicles, and embodied intelligence applications. Field testing of these solutions will soon commence in Europe. In terms of commercialization, Zhuoyu announced a collaboration with Volkswagen Group in Europe to conduct a proof-of-concept (POC) project for next-generation intelligent driving systems, using the all-electric Volkswagen ID. Buzz platform as the pilot vehicle. This will mark the first time a Volkswagen commercial vehicle equipped with a Chinese-developed intelligent driver assistance solution undergoes real-road validation testing in Europe. To support its local operations, Zhuoyu’s European headquarters has already begun recruiting talent for roles in business development and local R&D, and is advancing the construction of a data center. Additionally, the company has established a partnership with the Technical University of Braunschweig to jointly tackle technical challenges related to projects like the ID. Buzz POC, integrating itself into the region’s aerospace and automotive innovation clusters. To date, Zhuoyu has partnered with 34 core global customers and ecosystem partners, providing intelligent driver assistance solutions across more than 130 vehicle models.
