On May 29, NIO unveiled the new LeDao L60 at the Greater Bay Area Auto Show and opened pre-orders for the model. The new vehicle is a midsize SUV that retains the current design language but adds a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor and features the LeDao logo on the rear badge. Its dimensions are 4,828 mm long, 1,930 mm wide, and 1,616 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. The L60 incorporates 106 upgrades in total, including a 17.3-inch 3K foldable ceiling-mounted rear screen, a sunroof shade, an ultra-suede headliner, and a 6L intelligent temperature-controlled storage box. In terms of intelligent driving systems, the LiDAR-equipped version is powered by NIO’s self-developed 5nm automotive-grade chip—Shenji NX9031—and leverages NIO’s NMW (NIO Model World) architecture, enabling point-to-point full-scenario navigation assistance, automatic ETC toll passage on highways, and autonomous entry/exit at battery swap stations. The vision-only version continues to use NVIDIA’s Orin-X chip, delivering 254 TOPS of computing power. The powertrain is offered in both single-motor and dual-motor configurations, built on a 900V high-voltage architecture that can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in 25 minutes. Two battery pack options are available: 60 kWh and 85 kWh, offering CLTC-rated ranges of 530 km, 560 km, 707 km, and 740 km depending on the configuration. Display vehicles have already arrived at NIO stores nationwide; test drives will be available starting June 6, with official market launch scheduled for June 11.
