The interior of the Leapmotor D99 has recently been officially unveiled, with its design language now largely finalized. Built on Leapmotor’s D platform, the D99 is a mid-to-large-size MPV offered in both extended-range and all-electric variants, and is expected to launch within this year. The cabin features a dual-layer wraparound cockpit design and a five-screen 3D interactive system, comprising a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.3-inch central touchscreen, a 50-inch AR-HUD, a 6-inch rear-seat multifunction control screen, and a 21.4-inch rear entertainment display. Inside, a 3.9-meter “Reunion” ambient lighting ring supports multiple interaction modes. The infotainment system runs Leapmotor OS and integrates an “AI Family Butler” feature. The 50-inch AR-HUD offers three display modes: vehicle speed, AR navigation, and map view. The rear 21.4-inch 3K entertainment screen supports electric, stepless tilt adjustment from 90° to 110° and features TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification along with an automatic eye-care mode. The D99 adopts a 2+2+3 seven-seat layout, with seat materials certified as baby- and child-safe. The second row features two zero-gravity seats that can rotate 180 degrees or adjust into a 90-degree scenic-viewing position. The third-row backrest folds flat at 180 degrees to form a bed or folds up at 90 degrees to create a panoramic viewing seat. By coordinating the second and third rows, occupants can configure a nearly 2.5-meter-long bed; when the third row is folded and stowed, it creates a bed approximately 1.8 meters long. Additionally, the first and second rows can also be combined into a sleeping surface, offering exceptional spatial flexibility. In terms of features, the D99 is equipped with an automotive-grade oxygen-generation system, an 11.4L heated and cooled storage box, a panoramic sunroof, a custom fragrance system, and 43 storage compartments throughout the cabin.
