The SAIC Audi E7X officially launched at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show on May 29, 2026, with five variants priced between RMB 269,800 and RMB 359,800. Positioned as a mid-to-large all-electric SUV, the E7X measures 5,049 mm in length, 1,997 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,060 mm. It is available in six exterior colors. Exterior-wise, the E7X inherits Audi’s signature design language, featuring a silhouette similar to the E5 Sportback but with a more minimalist and refined aesthetic. It comes equipped with ring-shaped lighting units, a closed-off front grille, and vertical digital matrix LED headlights that support functions such as light carpet illumination, following distance alerts, and automated parking guidance. The rear also features ring-shaped taillights, creating visual harmony with the front fascia. Inside, the cabin boasts a 27-inch panoramic center display, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 21.4-inch QD-MiniLED ceiling-mounted screen for rear passengers, and an 8-inch armrest-mounted touchscreen. The vehicle runs Audi Assistant 2.0, powered by the Doudao large language model (LLM). Additional interior highlights include a 2.195-square-meter adjustable panoramic glass roof and an onboard temperature-controlled beverage cooler. Seating configurations include a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with ventilation, heating, and massage functions as standard. The front passenger seat supports a zero-gravity reclining position. Rear seats feature dual electric leg rests (400 mm in length), lumbar support, and six-way manually adjustable headrests. In the high-end four-seat variant, the rear is fitted with dual zero-gravity executive seats offering one-touch zero-gravity mode, pneumatic recline adjustment, and four-way power-adjustable headrests with electric height control. For intelligent driving, the E7X integrates 28 perception sensors—including 11 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, 1 LiDAR unit, 3 millimeter-wave radars, and 1 high-precision positioning module—paired with NVIDIA Orin X chips delivering 254 TOPS of computing power and Momenta’s reinforcement learning-based large model. This setup enables fully customizable parking across all scenarios. The chassis features an all-aluminum air spring structure complemented by an intelligent hydraulic damping bushing system, CDC continuously variable damping suspension, and adjustable air suspension with up to 80 mm of height adjustment range. Steering enhancements include VGR progressive-ratio steering and rear-wheel steering (with a maximum angle of ±7°), achieving a minimum turning radius of just 5.14 meters. Powertrain options include single-motor rear-wheel drive (RWD) and dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations. The single-motor version delivers a peak output of 300 kW, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in either 5.82 or 6.25 seconds depending on the variant. The dual-motor AWD version produces a combined 500 kW and peak torque of 800 N·m, achieving a 0–100 km/h sprint in 3.9 seconds. Battery options consist of two ternary lithium packs: 100 kWh and 109.3 kWh. The entry-level RWD model offers a CLTC-rated range of 705 km, with the top variant reaching up to 751 km. All models come standard with a 900V high-voltage architecture, enabling peak charging power of 456 kW—adding approximately 57% state of charge (equivalent to around 429 km of range) in just 10 minutes.
