On May 28, BYD announced a new customer benefit for its non-commercial vehicles equipped with Flash Charge technology: starting from the date a user places a firm order, if delivery is delayed beyond 30 days, the company will grant one additional day of free Flash Charge service for each day of delay. This policy applies to all Flash Charge-enabled models across BYD’s Dynasty, Ocean, Fangchengbao, Yangwang, and Denza brands. BYD claims its Flash Charge technology can boost battery charge from 10% to 70% in just five minutes, with a single-charger peak power output of 1,500 kW. As of May 14, 2026, BYD has built 5,979 Flash Charge stations across 312 cities nationwide.
