The all-new Li Auto L8 is scheduled to officially debut and commence deliveries at the end of June. The new model switches from the current six-seat layout to a five-seat configuration and features slightly increased overall dimensions: length 5,135 mm, width 2,000 mm, height 1,800 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,045 mm (compared to the current model’s 5,080×1,995×1,800 mm and 3,005 mm wheelbase). Its curb weight ranges from 2,740 kg to 2,830 kg. The vehicle retains the side- and rear-facing LiDAR setup introduced on the latest-generation L9 and offers dual-tone exterior color options. Powering the L8 is a 115 kW range extender produced by Jiangsu Li Auto Power Technology Co., Ltd., paired with a 72.7 kWh ternary lithium battery pack (using SVOLT cells and assembled by Li Auto). Under WLTC conditions, the pure electric driving range is either 335 km or 343 km. Depending on curb weight, the WLTC fuel consumption is rated at either 0.23 L/100 km (for the 2,740 kg variant) or 0.27 L/100 km (for variants weighing 2,770 kg, 2,805 kg, or 2,830 kg). Additionally, the new L8 offers numerous optional configurations, including different wheel rim designs, power-retractable running boards, a power-retractable towing-specific device, window trim and mirror base finishes in various materials, side/rear LiDAR units, rear badging, and dual-tone paint. A trailer hitch kit supporting a maximum towing capacity of 1,500 kg is also available as an option.
