GAC’s Qijing GT7 launched its pre-sales on the afternoon of May 29, offering four variants priced between RMB 219,900 and RMB 309,900. Within just five hours of opening pre-orders, it received over 10,000 reservations. The Qijing GT7 marks the first collaborative vehicle developed by GAC and Huawei, featuring standard equipment across all trims including Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system, HarmonyOS Smart Cockpit, and HUAWEI XMC digital chassis engine. Measuring 5,050 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,470 mm in height with a 3,000 mm wheelbase, the Qijing GT7 is positioned as a mid-to-large premium electric shooting brake. Standard features across the lineup include Continental high-performance four-piston fixed calipers, triple-layer silver-coated panoramic glass roof, laminated acoustic glass on all four doors, an 800V high-voltage architecture, closed-loop dual-chamber air suspension, and continuously adjustable damping shock absorbers. The base model is equipped with a single-motor rear-wheel-drive system delivering a maximum output of 340 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. It comes with an 86 kWh CATL Shenxing battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 770 km, and integrates Huawei’s in-cabin LiDAR-based visual autonomous driving solution. The Ultra trim adds Huawei’s next-generation 896-line dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR and D-TOF solid-state LiDAR, increasing the total number of sensors from 27 to 36 and featuring a full-chain redundant hardware architecture designed for L3-level autonomous driving capabilities. The Ultra Long Range variant is powered by a 102 kWh CATL Qilin battery supporting 6C ultra-fast charging, achieving a CLTC range of 900 km and a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 5.8 seconds. It also introduces a HUAWEI SOUND 21-speaker 7.1.4 immersive surround sound system and a zero-gravity passenger seat. The top-tier Ultra Triple-Motor AWD version delivers a combined output of 768 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.98 seconds, and includes a tire-blowout stability control system.
